Alright, aside from that I will not mention anything Star Trek related because I realize how much this alienates pretty much all of my f-list (however little may be remaining)... instead, I will talk about HARRY POTTER!1one!

Only I have no real opinions of the movie. I walked out of the theater feeling nothing, frankly. Except maybe I was perving over young Tom Riddle a whole lot. (This makes two children on my RL pedobear radar.) Fish, I completely feel you. Together, you and I can search him out, hogtie him, throw him in my car trunk, and bring him back to my/your house. I'M DRIVIN' YEEHAW ROADTRIP.

Yeah, I've been horrible about posting, I fail at life, journal updating takes too much time, never anything witty to say etc etc pick and choose with excuses here.

Not much going on lately, except I might get an internship job at the OSBA (ohio state bar association) which would be useful for a prelaw major and I'm not but really I just want an OFFICE JOB please and thanks so this'll do. Also may be volunteering at a local hospital, which happens to be attached to the nursing school I'll be attending, and will be nice to put on the good ol' resume. V. exciting.

But you don't want to hear about that. You want to hear about how I've been watching Star Trek like a big ol' geek for the past few days. LUCKILY my brother and his girlfriend got a jump start on me with the obsession and I can just borrow dvds from them - currently in the midst of working my way through Star Trek: The Original Series (season one) and the better movies. Already seen The Wrath of Khan and wow this shit is so campy and lulzy I can't NOT find each and every scene utterly hilarious. THE NAKED TIME? PRICELESS. Will never look at Sulu the same again.

I know practically no one on my flist understands any of this and it's fine. In fact, no one should bitch me out when I say I really do prefer some of the actors from the 2009 movie to the original cast, though Kirk and Spock and McCoy are awesome in every form but nu!Chekov and nu!Sulu are vastly superior to their counterparts I'm sorry. You can't beat the adorable that is Anton Yelchin. LOOK AT THIS GQ MOTHERFUCKER. ~~I will never tire of this meme never.~~ And Sulu? Well. Sulu... yeah, is ridiculous in TOS in a hilarious kind of way but I can actually take him seriously in the movie somehow. Somehow.

--RIGHT ONE MORE THING. KID!SPOCK IN THE MOVIE IS THE CUTEST FUCKING THING IN THE UNIVERSE and makes my shotacat senses tingle like no real little child ever could. I don't know how I feel about this. /shame

Quick update.

1. Got my cholesterol checked again. Not as bad as before, but still high (211). Going to cut down on sweets, cheese, eggs, etc and recheck in six months. If still not down, will see nutritionist and preventative cardiologist. :( :( :(

2. Officially changed my major to pre-nursing. Will finish this year and next at current school, then move back home and attend Mt. Carmel School of Nursing for 2 more years. Private, really good school, only a few minutes away from home.

3. SAW WATCHMEN. Was blown away by awesome. Could've done without the gratuitous sex scene, but overall v. v. good. Had hots for Ozymandias. Would hit that hard. Rorschach kicked so much ass.

4. Also saw Taken. Pretty good, enjoyed seeing Liam Neeson being badass.

5. Spending every tuesday evening staring adoringly at rpattz2. Might be in love. DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HIS REAL NAME.

6. WATCHING CRIMINAL MINDS RIGHT NAO. Man I love this show. Deeply. Alex O'Loughlin from Moonlight is going to be in an episode eventually. SO EXCITED.
